Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information ImyBoss collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing site, and how our products handle the accounts you connect to them, including Google Search Console.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you fill in the contact form or join a waitlist, we collect the details you provide, such as your name and email address.
• Usage information. We collect privacy-light analytics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type) to improve it. See our cookie policy for detail.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiries and requests.
• To tell you when a product you asked about becomes available.
• To understand and improve how the site performs.

Data you connect to our products

The suite's products work on accounts you connect to them, such as a WordPress site or a Google Search Console property. We access those accounts only to provide the product you asked for, we act on your instructions, and you can disconnect at any time. Access credentials and tokens are stored encrypted.

Google user data

MarketLens can connect to Google Search Console. If you choose to connect it, this is exactly what happens:

• What we access. Read-only Search Console data for the properties you have verified with Google, using the single scope webmasters.readonly. That means the list of your verified properties and their search performance (clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position, by date, search query and page), plus index and sitemap status when you ask for it. We request no other Google scope, so we cannot read your Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendar.
• What we store. Those performance figures, in your own workspace, so the Performance module can show trends over time. We also store the Google refresh token that keeps the connection alive, encrypted at rest.
• How we use it. Only to show you your own data and to produce suggestions for you, such as pages worth refreshing. To generate those suggestions, the relevant figures are sent to our AI provider as context for your request. They are not used to train any AI model, and they are never used for advertising.
• Who we share it with. Nobody. We do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except the hosting and AI providers that process it on our behalf to run the product.
• How to disconnect. Disconnect inside MarketLens, which deletes the stored token, or revoke our access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Email us to have the synced performance data deleted as well.

ImyBoss's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and communicate with you, such as our email delivery and hosting providers, and only as needed to provide those services.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@imyboss.app.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymize it.
